Dr. Adam Osborne's Life:

Adam Osborne was born on March 6, 1939 in Thailand, to British parents. He spent much of his childhood in the ashram of Sri Ramana Maharishi in Tamil Nadu, South India. He moved to the United Kingdom at the age of eleven and attended public school and university in England. Osborne married and moved to the United States. In 1992, Osborne’s health began to decline; he moved to his sister Katya Douglas’ home in Kodaikanal, a hill station in Tamil Nadu (India). He suffered from organic brain syndrome and died on March 18, 2003 at the age of 64, in his sister’s home in India. Survivors include his first wife, Cynthia Geddes and three children, Marc, Paul and Alexandra, and his second wife, Barbara Burdick.

Osborne attended public school in England. In 1961, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Birmingham University. He completed his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware.
